University of Arkansas Implements Synch-Solutions ERP System

Synch-Solutions announced recently that is has completed a three-phase rapid implementation of PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solutions, Financial Management and Human Capital Management at the University of Arkansas at Monticello.

The full scale rapid implementation process was completed in only 18 months from startup to production environment. This process usually takes two years or more for a traditional implementation.

The project was a pilot for Synch-Solutions’ Campus Accelerator, which is a service offering that enables small to midsize higher education institutions to achieve implementation of the full PeopleSoft Enterprise suite in just 12 months.

The start of the human capital management implementation was staggered by 6 months to provide some breathing room in the tight schedules of project team members from the University of Arkansas, as each component began within a 12-month timeframe.

Phase I of the project included go-live of the financial aid functionality of the Campus Solutions component. Phase II included go-live of all remaining functions of Campus Solutions and the Financial Management component. Phase III concluded with go-live of the Human Capital Management component.

John Sterling, CEO of Synch-Solutions, says the Campus Accelerator reflects their commitment to delivering business transformation solutions for higher education institutions which reduce costs and increase the value of information technology.

Sterling says it also enables delivery of a Tier-1 system to institutions that might think such a solution was out of their reach.
