VAI Welcomed Record Attendance to 2010 User Conference in Orlando
Customers, prospects and media previewed VAI’s latest product developments
RONKONKOMA, N.Y. (November 23, 2010) – VAI (Vormittag Associates, Inc.), a leader in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions for the mid-market, and an award winning IBM Premier Business Partner, announced record attendance for their 2010 User Conference at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. VAI President and CEO, Bob Vormittag, kicked off the conference with a welcome to the guests and quickly exemplified the conference theme, “Thrive in the New Economy.” Customers, prospects, and media representatives were provided a preview of the latest S2K Enterprise capabilities needed to transcend challenging economic conditions and to excel in this rapidly changing market.
Keynote speaker Ross Shafer shared innovative practices from dozens of organizations that continue to thrive in any economy. Conference attendees were presented with VAI’s new customer videos highlighting warehouse automation, e-commerce, and mobile successes. The company also unveiled its latest applications and enhancements including S2K Sales Force, a portal-based CRM solution designed to integrate enterprise data with mobile computing devices such as the Apple iPad and iPhone; S2K for Food Release 4.7, which incorporates a new graphical user interface, plus many new enhancements; and S2K’s new Enterprise Portal Shopping Cart application, which provides advanced e-commerce options for B2B and B2C environments. Also new for 2010 is VAI’s S2K Enterprise on-line, a new Cloud Computing option.
“How to” sessions were conducted by the VAI team to show attendees the new enhancements in the latest version of S2K v5.0.3 and see it “hands on” with the iPad, iPhone, and warehouse automation devices. This new release included revisions in Purchasing, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, Rental, Retail Point of Sale, Service and Repair and enhanced multi-language capabilities. Attendees also participated in workshops intended to deliver training and technical information about the latest features and benefits of the S2K Software Suite. Third Party Vendors were also on hand during breakout sessions to discuss new features integrated within the S2K Enterprise.
