IRVINE, Calif. (November 11, 2008) – Epicor Software Corporation (NASDAQ: EPIC), a

Global 1000 companies, today announced the winners of the Company’s 2008 Channel Partner
Awards. Recipients were chosen by Epicor based on exceptional performance in customer
growth, satisfaction, overall dedication, total sales and commitment to Epicor solutions.

Top honorees for 2008 include COGITA, a New Zealand-based value-added reseller
(VAR) of Epicor enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions and Encompass Solutions, an
Epicor ERP partner based in Naperville, Ill. COGITA was recognized with four awards including
“International Partner of the Year” honors for “Most New Business Transactions” and “Top
Revenue Producer” as well as “Worldwide Partner of the Year” acknowledgment for “Most
Transactions” and “Top Revenue Producer.” COGITA’s success follows an extraordinary past
12 months, producing $1.7M in software sales and 54 closed deals across new customers and
existing accounts.
