Consona ERP Acquires Intuitive

Acquisition Signals Continued Company Growth and International Expansion.

Indianapolis, IN (August 27, 2008) –

Consona Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) software and services for companies of all sizes, today announced that it has acquired the Intuitive assets from TproSoft, an Intuitive value-added reseller (VAR) located in China. The acquisition underscores Consona’s aggressive acquisition strategy and further strengthens Consona’s overseas expansion of its current China operations.

Intuitive, a full-function, integrated enterprise system, offers rich ERP functionality for a broad range of manufacturing environments. As part of its acquisition from TproSoft, Consona ERP garners all intellectual property, including software localizations and customizations for customers. Consona ERP also gains TproSoft’s Intuitive customers in China.

According to Scott Malia, general manager of Consona ERP, this acquisition comes as part of Consona’s overall international expansion, following its customers’ business direction into international markets. “We appreciate the work that TproSoft has done in serving our Intuitive customers in China,” said Malia. “Our North American customers have been growing their Chinese operations for many years, and this is one of many steps toward providing the direct product development, professional services and support necessary to ensure our joint success. We look forward to additional acquisitions to further expand our Intuitive operations in China.”

Set to operate out of Consona’s new Shanghai headquarters, the expanded operations include the employment of additional management and professional services staff familiar with the Intuitive product line, as well as staff with direct experience in the automotive, electronics, plastics, and wire and cable markets. The new headquarters will look to support multiple Consona product lines over time, and adds to an existing network of product experts across operations in Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Suzhou.

“Chinese manufacturers have specialized requirements–particularly small to medium size operations in electronics and related technologies,” said Paul Dyhr, managing director of Consona’s China offices. “Intuitive meets these requirements with its strong functionality and scalability. In addition, our new Shanghai headquarters, established operations across China, and experienced ERP professional services staff provide a strong basis for Consona’s continued success overseas.”

Consona’s China operations were established with its acquisition of Cimnet Systems, a leading global supplier of ERP software and services for the printed circuit board (PCB) industry. Since then, its international customer base has grown significantly.

“Starting in 1999, Consona responded to changes in the electronics industry by introducing the first ERP software specifically for Chinese printed circuit board fabricators,” said Mehul Davé, vice president of international operations for Consona ERP. “Today, Consona has more than 100 customers spanning a range of industries. We’re committed to expanding our direct support of our customers’ business needs in China.”

The specific terms of the agreement were not released.
