Consona China Announces New General Manager
Software Industry Veteran to Accelerate Consonaâ??s Rapid Development in China
Indianapolis (April 20, 2010) –
Consona Corporation (Consona), a worldwide leader in providing customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and services for companies of all sizes, today announced a key executive appointment to support its operations in China. Tim Farey joins Consona as the general manager in China starting in April 2010.
Based in Shanghai, Farey is responsible for the China operations within Consona, focusing on growing the business for the ERP solutions currently offered in the Asian market – Cimnet Systems ERP software for the PCB/FPC manufacturing market, and Intuitive ERP software for high-tech, electronics, and railway part manufacturers.
The AXIS ERP solution, developed for the metals, wire and cable industries will be launched into the Chinese market this year. The AXIS product will also be highlighted at this year’s annual Consona China User Conference held May 20-21, 2010 in Shanghai.
Farey will report to Mehul Davé, the vice president of international operations for Consona’s ERP division.
“Businesses are increasingly shifting focus to China as an area of sustained growth for quality manufacturing and production operations. We are seeing an upward trend for software solutions in China and Asia,” said Davé. “We highly regard Tim’s ERP industry background and international experience in China, Australia and South East Asia, and we believe he will infuse new vitality into Consona while leading the team in rapid development in China and Asia.”
Based in China since 1996, Farey has over 20 years of software industry experience, 14 of which as a multinational executive with a key focus on the Chinese market. Prior to joining Consona, Farey held positions at SoftBrands Inc., formerly Fourth Shift Corporation.
