Acumatica Draws NetSuite Customers with Cloud ERP Software

Acumatica has recently revealed that more mid-sized customers are upgrading to modern Web-based software and doing so without losing control of data or costs.

Many business customers switching from NetSuite to Acumatica are now benefiting from flexible deployment, select upgrade times, elimination of vendor lock-in, integration with on-premise systems, and control of stored data, according to company officials.

Acumatica customers have a choice in how they deploy the application. They can do so on-premise or as SaaS, and pay an upfront license or annual subscription.

Fashion and Jewelry Manufacturer and Distributor, J. Goodin, recently made the switch from NetSuite to Acumatica. It helped them improve transaction processing speed during the busy holiday period without being locked-in to recurring SaaS license payments.

The new Acumatica software manages multiple distribution processes for J. Goodin such as build-to-order, drop ship, and build-to-stock. Salespeople enter orders directly into Acumatica while their integration tools accept electronic sales from J.Goodin’s network of retailers, wholesalers and online properties.

Jay Cheng, CEO of J. Goodin, recently made the statement that Acumatica provided a Web-based solution that they could install on-premise and integrate with other on-premise systems.
Cheng added that they gained on-the-go access to data without being locked into recurring payments or losing control of their data.

The CEO of Acumatica, Ezequiel Steiner, says that many businesses such as J. Goodin are moving off SaaS-only solutions to implement Acumatica Cloud ERP. Steiner further added that after using NetSuite, many customers want to regain control of where they place their data, when they upgrade and how often they pay for their software.

Acumatica Indonesia has also recently announced that it has enrolled eight distribution partners to provide to its wide base of customers. Their growth in Indonesia is due to the demand for cloud ERP software.
