CDC Software Partnering with Cloud-Based Transportation Management Solutions

Recently, CDC software has reached the final stages of acquiring a provider of cloud-based transportation management solutions.

If the transaction is completed, CDC Software will be able to offer a complimentary product to their extensive portfolio of enterprise applications. The acquisition would allow them to offer a new transportation and logistics solution. If CDC acquires the cloud-based transportation management solution, it would provide new cross-selling opportunities for CDC and add a new level of functionality to existing products. This recent transaction attempt is congruent with CDC Software’s strategy to raise its SaaS maintenance and recurring revenues to approximately 70% of the total revenue.

Bruce Cameron, President of CDC Software, is very excited by the endless possibilities that this acquisition would produce. The acquisition, although drawing to a close, is still subject to several customary closing conditions. These include the execution of definitive documentation that is related to the acquisition, and the receipt of all of the requisite approvals. Once this deal is finalized, CDC’s ERP  software will surely feature elements of the cloud-based transportation management solution, and CDC will gain more step of attaining their business objectives.
